On January 12th, Kien Giang University Party Committee organized a Conference to summarize 2023 Party work and to deploy directions and tasks in 2024.

Attended the conference comrade Huynh Hoang Son - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises; Comrade Pham Hien Si - Deputy Head of Propaganda Department of Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprise; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Secretary of the Party Committee of Kien Giang University and over 200 party members and in-list party members.

In 2022-2023 school year, the University was evaluated by the Ministry of Education and Training as an excellently task completing team. The University’s staff received Merit Certificates of Satisfactory Progress and 02 sub-units were awarded Ministry’s Emulation Flags. In addition, 01 collective and 07 individuals with outstanding achievements at the University were awarded Certificate of Satisfactory Progress by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in the particular emulation movement "Kien Giang’s union for Covid-19 epidemic prevention ".

The work of self-assessment, self-evaluation, and Party member classification and Party organization in 2023 was seriously carried out in accordance with regulations, resulting in 13/13 Party sub-branch being classified as well task-completing sub-branch (reaching 100%); 98.3% of Party members as well task-completing, 16.4% of party members as excellently task-completing, which was an increasing rate compared to the same period of last year.

As quite well led and implementing the emulation movement "2023 Clever People's Movement" launched by the University Party Committee as well as the higher-level Party Committee, the University had 15 collective models and 25 individual models registering for implementation.
