Education & Training - On the morning of March 26, more than 1,040 high school students in Kien Giang province and neighboring provinces participated in the Competence Assessment Exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University, phase 1, 2023.

Recorded at the exam cluster of Kien Giang University, many candidates came to the test site from more than 6 am. The preparation for the exam room took place thoughtfully and smoothly. Candidates are instructed to correct information in a timely manner.

Present at the test site very early, My Hang, a 12th grade student at Nguyen Trung Truc High School (Kien Giang) shared: "This is the exam I expected, I was ready for the exam because I had already passed the exam before. I had reviewed and solved problems from previous years. This time, I registered to take the exam to try my best and get a score for the Oriental Studies major of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City.

As for Ho Phuc Thien, a 12th grade student at Binh Son High School (Kien Giang), said: Currently, colleges and universities apply many entrance examination methods, so my mood and my classmates are quite comfortable when preparing to enter the exam room. I and my friends registered to take the exam to try their best and expand their chances of being admitted to the universities they love.

Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Head of Exam Cluster of Kien Giang University said: Kien Giang University has fully prepared facilities, established an inspection team, and examined the organization of the exam. At the same time, it is required that the examination staff and supervisors strictly comply with regulations, ensuring the exam takes place safely and objectively.

 

This time, Kien Giang University coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City National University to arrange 43 official exam rooms and 1 backup exam room. Each exam room will have from 17 to 24 candidates.

The school has assigned 141 personnel to participate in the organization of the exam, of which 88 are examiners. This is the second year that Ho Chi Minh City National University has organized a competency assessment exam at Kien Giang University in order to create favorable conditions for candidates in Kien Giang and neighboring provinces to participate.
