Kien Giang University welcomed the University of Transportation to work.

On December 21st , Kien Giang University received and worked with the University of Transport. Attending the meeting there were Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Long - Rector of University of Transport; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Van Hung - Vice Rector, Director of the University of Transportation in Ho Chi Minh City; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Kien Giang University Council; Board of Directors and leaders of units of Kien Giang University.

Overview of the working session between Kien Giang University and University of Transportation.

At the meeting, the two units discussed the needs and potential for cooperation in the areas of strength that the two units are interested in; Sharing information and experience to improve training quality and develop cooperation and association programs.

Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Kien Giang University Council introduced Kien Giang University.

Speaking at the working session, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Council of Kien Giang University thanked the delegation from the University of Transportation for visiting and having a working session at the University. Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh also introduced to the delegation information about the University's team, facilities, equipment, scientific research results and enrollment information.

According to Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh, Kien Giang University is in need of joint training for engineers in specific fields of work-study and master's training and short-term professional training courses in the field of transportation such as logistics, transportation management, etc. at the university to create conditions and open up more learning opportunities.

Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Long - Rector of University of Transport spoke at the meeting.

Continuing, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Long - Rector of the University of Transportation thanked Kien Giang University for the thoughtful and enthusiastic welcome. At the same time, introduce the strengths of the University of Transportation. Prof. Long hoped that in the coming time, he would cooperate and associate with Kien Giang University in recruiting students, training as well as supporting the University in carrying out scientific research projects.

At the end of the meeting, the two units assigned contact points to exchange specific professional work to carry out joint training and, in the immediate future, signed a cooperation agreement between the two units.
