On May 28, Kien Giang University held a basic training course on entrepreneurship and innovation for students of Kien Giang University in 2023, attracting 116 students to attend.

116 students attended the basic training course on innovative start-ups.

The training course is held in 2 days, May 28th and June 4th, after completing the course, students will be granted a certificate of training completion for qualified trainees according to regulations.

Priority is given to first- and second-year students and students who have entrepreneurial ideas, qualities and capabilities in creative activities.

Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh – Vice Rector was guiding the training course.

This training course is directly guided and trained by trained and experienced instructors in the field of innovation and start-up. Students attending the training course were able to acquire such contents as: The basics of entrepreneurship; Innovative start-ups; Startup ecosystem for students; Entrepreneurial Thinking and Innovative Startup Ideas; Basic steps on starting a business/starting a business; Lean Startup; Business Model Canvas; Financial planning for start-up projects; Building communication channels for products and services.

In addition, students are also guided in skills of writing ideas, participating in contests and contests on innovative start-ups; How to choose teammates and form the right team to go far when starting a business.
