On December 3rd , Kien Giang University held a conference to summarize the 2023 enrollment mission.

In 2023, Kien Giang University (KGU) organized 2 rounds of direct admission consultation at 55 high schools in the province and more than 79 high schools in the Mekong Delta provinces.

KGU organized 3 consulting sessions, 4 career consulting talk shows to provide online major introduction as well as admission information via livestream on Kien Giang University's Fan page, which attracted more than 9,000 views and interactions.

In 2023, the university enrolled students in 22 majors, with 1,686 candidates admitted, reaching 100.4% of the target assigned by the School Council, of which, 1,434 candidates were admitted based on their academic transcript scores (accounting for 85%); 250 candidates were admitted by high school graduation exam scores and 2 candidates were admitted by competency assessment results (accounting for 15%).

For the office-learning and transfer-learning programs, the school received 438 admission applications, of which 278 students were accepted and registered for admission.

It is expected that in 2024, Kien Giang University will enroll 24 majors, including two new majors: e-commerce and multimedia communication, with a total target of 1,840 students.
