Recently, at the meeting to celebrate the 9th anniversary of the establishment of Kien Giang University (May 21st , 2014 - May 21st , 2023), the Organizing Committee of the Photo Contest themed "Youth with KGU" organized an award ceremony, rewarded the candidates: Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, class B20ST, Faculty of Pedagogy & Humanities Society won first prize; Le Thi Dieu Chan, class B021LU2, Faculty of Education and Humanities Society won second prize; Do Ta Manh Tien, Specialist of the Department of Cooperation and Science and Technology won third prize; Vo Cong Dinh, KGU dance team won the most popular photo award.

The photo contest "Youth with KGU" to celebrate the 9^th anniversary of the founding of Kien Giang University took place from May 11^th to May 18^th. With the desire to capture beautiful moments and memorable impressions during the process of studying and growing up at Kien Giang University, the photo contest "Youth with KGU" attracted the enthusiastic participation of officials, lecturers, and students with 52 entries.

“KGU Lecture Hall – The place where youth is created”

Winning first prize at the contest with the photo set "KGU Lecture Hall – The place created youth ", Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, class B20ST, Faculty of Pedagogy & Humanities wrote, "The most beautiful youth is the youth for the sake of your dreams, the dream without stopping making effort. Therefore, the university lecture hall will be the place to create meaningful moments of youth. Approaching KGU lecture hall - the place nurturing and fulfilling the dreams of generations of students, I know what maturity is, what love is, what responsibility is and many more things.  ...”

“Youth, thank you for meeting each other”

The photo set "Youth, thank you for meeting each other" by Le Thi Dieu Chan, class B021LU2, Faculty of Education and Humanities Society won second prize. With Chan, "After 2 years of studying and practicing at school, I always want to learn a lot, participate in many activities, and try many different fields. I simply want my youth to be a little more meaningful, a little better, a little more perfect."

“KGU - A place to color my youth”

As for Do Ta Manh Tien, an expert at the Department of Cooperation and Science and Technology, who won third prize in the contest, he affirmed in his work "KGU - A place to color my youth": He is a former student of the English Language course III of the school, “I am confident when telling friends and relatives: I was a student at Kien Giang University. As one of the school's first years’ students, I went through many changes with KGU, but that timeline wouldn’t have been able to be overshadowed because KGU was the place that colored my youth.”
