Mr. Pham Van Sinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Facilities (Ministry of Education and Training) awarded the Decision to recognize the position of Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Council of Kien Giang University to Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh.

Meanwhile, Kien Giang University also announced the Resolution to appoint Vice Chairman of the University Council and to assign Vice Rector in charge for the term 2019 - 2024.

Accordingly, the position of Kien Giang University Chairman of the Council in the term 2019 - 2024 of Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Secretary of the Party Committee of Kien Giang University was decided to implement the policy Secretary of the Party Committee must concurrently hold the position as the Chairman of the University Council according to Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Central Executive Board, term XII.

Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Kien Giang University Party Committee Secratary and Council Chairman presented the Resolution assigning tasks to Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Vice Principal of Kien Giang University as Vice Principal in charge of the school. Speaking on taking over the assignment, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Kien Giang University Party Committee Secretary, Council Chairman claimed that in the time to come, he will continue to recheck and orient key points in his school's development strategy.
