In order to coordinate and enhance propaganda and education to students in the University to strictly comply with the Cyber Security Law,

on the afternoon of May 15^th, 2019, at Kien Giang University, a signing took place between the Internal Political Security Department - Kien Giang Provincial Police and Kien Giang University on building and implementing a coordination plan to start implementing the Civil Mobilization model of "Coordinating with the Board of Directors of Kien Giang University to encourage students to strictly comply with the Law on Cyber ​​Security".

Attending the signing ceremony there were Colonel Huynh Tan Hung, Head of the Internal Political Security Department of the Provincial Police, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Hieu Dan, Deputy Head of the Department and Lieutenant Colonel Tran Ngoc Anh, Head of the Internal Political Security Team. On the side of Kien Giang University, there was Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Rector of the University along with representatives of leaders of Faculties, Departments, Boards, Institutes and Centers under the University.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged information on current affairs, politics, plots, and intentions of hostile forces and reactionary organizations in distorting the provisions of the Law on Cyber ​​Security. The security situation in cyberspace consisted of many unpredictable developments, in which reactionary subjects and organizations took advantage of social networks to propagate and incite defamation of our Party and State leaders. Among them, the most subjects we must be cautious about were universities and colleges students.

According to Colonel Huynh Tan Hung, Head of the Internal Political Security Department - Provincial Police, the signing of the coordination agreement to mobilize students to strictly comply with the Cyber ​​Security Law was going to help pupils and students better understand how to use or exploit information in cyberspace, promptly detecting and taking measures to handle cases of intentional violations.

Speaking at the ceremony, MSc. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Rector of the school also expressed his desire to capture information and coordinate with the Internal Political Security Department - Kien Giang Provincial Police in strengthening propaganda.
