3S-NET is the abbreviation for the network that supports student startups in the Mekong Delta. The network is a voluntary social organization comprising universities and colleges in the Mekong Delta. It was established to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship, provide training in essential knowledge and skills for the startup process, and create the most favorable environment. Through this organization, students of member institutions can start businesses after graduating.

On July 14^th, Kien Giang University participated in the online conference to solicit opinions on establishing the network to support student startups in the Mekong Delta. Attending the conference were representatives of 19 colleges and universities in the Mekong Delta.

The network supporting student startups in the Mekong Delta is a voluntary social organization of universities and colleges in the Mekong Delta. The network was founded by institutions and operates in accordance with the law. It is directed and managed by the Board of Directors selected by the member institutions.

The conference to gather opinions on the establishment of the 3S-NET network was held online in the context of the complicated Covid-19 epidemic.

It also aims to build close relationships between universities and colleges by promoting bilateral and multilateral cooperation actions with the view of improving knowledge and skills of entrepreneurship of students and alumni. Additionally, the network seeks to connect members to implement international projects and conduct research on innovative startups

At the Conference, 19 colleges and universities in the region approved the draft agreement for cooperation between institutions, the network's operational regulations, the directions for the 2021 - 2025 term, and Conference Resolution and Action Plan for the 2020 - 2021 academic year.

The Mekong Delta Student Startup Support Network was expected to be launched on September 23 - 24, 2021.
