On September 19th, University organized online admissions consultation to guide admission procedures for the second round with the theme "Admissions information - admission and introduction of 2 new majors at Kien Giang University".

In addition to the policy of reducing 30% of tuition fees for the first semester for candidates admitted to majors in the fields of agriculture and environment such as: Biotechnology; Plant Science; Animal Husbandry; Aquaculture; Environmental Resource Management; Environmental Engineering Technology. Kien Giang University Education Promotion Association also launched a package of 250 million VND to support and share with students affected by the Covid-19 epidemic to complete tuition fees at the beginning of the new school year.

The consultation session introduced basic enrollment information about the policies, plans, enrollment, and organization of the University in the coming time; shared notes when choosing a major to register for admission for candidates; introduced 2 new majors: Tourism and Control Engineering and Automation; training programs, plans, output standards and job opportunities for students after graduation, etc.

Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Vice Rector of Kien Giang University said that in the context that many localities were implementing social distancing, Kien Giang University applied the form of online enrollment registration for qualified candidates. The admission confirmation file included the original Certificate of High School Graduation Exam Results in 2021 or a copy of the High School Graduation Diploma (for candidates who graduated from High School before 2021) and tuition receipts. After officially enrolling, students were submitting additional student records according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

It was known that from September 13^th to 15^th, Kien Giang University conducted virtual screening with universities nationwide. As a result, nearly 780 candidates were admitted based on the results of the 2021 high school graduation exam. Candidates passing the recruitment were completing admission procedures from September 16^th to September 26^{th a}nd officially enrolling the second batch on September 27^th.
