Opening training class to improve foreign language skills for Kien Giang University officials.

At 10:00 a.m. on May 15th, in order to strengthen foreign language capacity for human resources within the framework of the Project on teaching and learning foreign languages ​​in the national education system for the period 2017-2025 (referred to as the National Foreign Language Project), Kien Giang University organized the opening of a training class to improve English skills for officials in 2020.

The course included 43 students who were lecturers and experts in departments and faculties of Kien Giang University and wished to study for a doctorate in the near future. During 200 periods, students were going to be directed and guided in learning content according to the IELTS program of 4.0 or higher.

At the end of the 25-week course, students were receiving funding for the IELTS exam, with funding coming from the 2020 National Foreign Language Project. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rector Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh required students to seriously comply with classroom rules and regulations, achieve goals, and achieve the best foreign language proficiency. "The school will create conditions and encourage teachers to seek scholarships to study abroad and improve their foreign language and professional skills" - Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh said.
