On December 4th, the Politburo and the Secretariat organized a national conference to research, study, and thoroughly grasp the Resolution of 8th Conference of the Party Central Committee, term XIII. More than Kien Giang University 250 officials and party members attended the conference online.

According to the Conference program, delegates listened to Politburo members and President Vo Van Thuong conveying the topic: Continuing to promote tradition, the strength of great national unity, turning our country into a more prosperous and happier one.

Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented the topic: Continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirement of contributing and protecting the fatherland in the new period.

General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense took over the topic: Strategy to protect the fatherland in new circumstances.

Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia conveyed the topic: Continuing to build and promote the role of the intellectual team to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period.

Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Kien Giang University Council spoke at the conference.

The contents of the topics focused on core issues and new points of the resolutions of the 8th Central Conference, term XIII to raise awareness, and responsibility of executive committees at all levels, party organization, officials and party members in implementing tasks according to the Resolution of the 8th Central Conference term XIII.
