Recently, MA. Nguyen Xuan Hoang, lecturer of Politics - National Defense Faculty and Tran Thi Kim Ngan, a student of Mathematics Education, Pedagogy and Social Sciences Faculty, won A prizes in the contest for composing messages and slogans to promote the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic, round 1, August 2021, organized by the Propaganda Department of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee.

Surpassing 592 messages and slogans from 235 contestants, lecturer Nguyen Xuan Hoang, Politics - National Defense Faculty with the message and slogan COMPLYING WITH "5K" MEANS WE WIN THE PANDEMIC and Tran Thi Kim Ngan, student of Mathematics Education, Education and Social Sciences Faculty with the message and slogan "Unity + Awareness = Pushing Back the Pandemic" won 2 A prizes of the contest.

It was known that in the first round, the Organizing Committee of the contest received 592 messages and slogans from 235 contestants. The Examination Board organized the preliminary round, thereby selecting 58 slogans from 40 authors for scoring. As a result, Organizing Committee recognized and awarded 15 messages and slogans that won A prizes and 14 messages and slogans that won B prizes.

The contest was organized to widely disseminate, contribute to promoting the spirit, sharing positive perspectives of the community, aiming to raise awareness of Covid-19 prevention and control; create consensus and unity in feelings, will, and actions among cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and all classes of people in the fight against Covid-19.
