On the afternoon of February 7th, Kien Giang University held the opening ceremony of the 2019 civil servant recruitment exam. Attending the opening ceremony there were members of the Examination Council, Supervisory Board, Assistant Board and 241 candidates taking the exam.

In this civil servant recruitment exam, Kien Giang University recruited 156 targets (41 specialists, department secretaries; 115 lecturers). The total number of candidates registering to take the exam was 241, of which 126 candidates registered to take the exam for the position of specialists and department secretaries; 115 candidates registered to take the exam for the position of lecturers. Candidates went through 2 rounds of examination. In round 1, candidates took multiple-choice test on computer in general knowledge, English, and information technology subjects.

After having round 1 results of passing 50% or more on each test, candidates took part in round 2. Round 2, which took place from February 11^th to 16^th, was for the positions of specialists and department secretaries, conducting face-to-face interviews and teaching practice tests if candidates applied for lecturer positions.

Opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Rector of Kien Giang University emphasized that the 2019 civil servant recruitment exam was a very important exam to supplement the school's human resources. Therefore, from the beginning, the preparations for the exam were planned specifically, in detail, thoroughly and had been seriously implemented up to this point. At the same time, exam invigilators and exam officials were requested to perform seriously, objectively, and fairly to create the most comfortable and confident state of mind for candidates taking the exam.
