Chiều ngày 26/1, Đảng bộ Trường Đại học Kiên Giang đã tổ chức Hội nghị Tổng kết công tác đảng năm 2020 và triển khai phương hướng nhiệm vụ năm 2021.

Overview of the conference.

The conference approved the report on the task implementation in 2020 and listened to comments and discussions from party members in party sub-division. At the same time, the Resolution on mission directions in 2021 was passed with targets such as: enrolling 1,375 full-time university students; opening at least 2 majors at university level and 1 major at Master's level; The rate of students achieving excellent and good results is over 15%, good is 40%, the rate of students quitting school is less than 7%; The rate of students graduating and having jobs is over 85%; streamlining the organizational system, striving to recruit 1 Professor, 1 Associate Professor, at least 4 Ph.Ds., 8 post-graduate students,...

On giving a directive speech at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector requested all lecturers, officials, and laborers to focus on implementing 9 key tasks, including: building a united, cohesive, focused, and developed Party organization; improving political and ideological education task among lecturers, officials, laborers, and students throughout the school; paying attention to political training for the teaching force, especially managing official staff; improving the quality of professional tasks; communicating promotions for enrollment on a unified basis; focusing on striving to meet quality inspection standards; enhancing scientific research among students; organizing recruitment and use of labor effectively; continuing to lead and direct the two unions to well perform political tasks, especially taking care of the material and spiritual life of lecturers, officials and laborers.

Comrade Nguyen Van Tuot - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises awarded the decision to elect additional Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Kien Giang University to Comrade Dang Thanh Son.

On this occasion, Kien Giang University Party Committee announced and awarded the decision to elect additional Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee to comrade Dang Thanh Son, and rewarded 3 Party sub-divisions and 17 party members who successfully completed their duties in 2020.
