Joining the atmosphere to welcome the traditional Chaul Chnam Thmey 2023 festival of the Khmer people, on April 13rd, Kien Giang University organized a meeting to celebrate Chaul Chnam Thmey Tet for officials and employees of Khmer ethnicity working at the University.

Kien Giang University currently had 21 Khmer officials, lecturers, and workers working in faculties, rooms, and centers.

Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Party Committee Secretary, Rector of Kien Giang University congratulated the traditional Tet Chaul Chnam Thmey.

“On behalf of the Party Committee, the School Board would like to thank Khmer ethnic lecturers working at Kien Giang School. He wished the teachers a happy, healthy, happy and increasingly successful celebration of the traditional Chaul Chnam Thmey New Year" - Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh happily said.

Dr. Danh Mo - Dean of the Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment stated at the meeting.

Representative of Khmer ethnic officials and laborers working at the School, Dr. Danh Mo - Head of the Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment reviewed the origin and meaning of the traditional Chaul Chnam Thmey New Year and the culture of the Khmer people with many unique features.
