On January 4, the Youth Union - Student Association of Kien Giang University organized the final round of the KGU Student Beauty contest to celebrate the 74th anniversary of Traditional Student Day (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2024). The contest attracted more than 500 members to participate and cheer.

The KGU Student Beauty Contest had 18 registered contestants, including 16 finalists. In the final round, the contestants went through two competitions, the first was Personal Talent, demonstrating their talents through singing genres; dancing; flower arrangement, presentation... Second is the costume contest, demonstrating physical beauty through the performance of ao dai and evening gowns.

The contest Organizing Committee highly appreciated the performances and shared messages that not only carried a personal impression, but also reflected the diversity and constant creativity of Kien Giang University students.

The jury selected 5 contestants with the highest scores in the first and second rounds to participate in the Conduct competition. In this part of the competition, each candidate will answer 1 question posed by the Organizing Committee to test candidates on social knowledge, cultural behavior and awareness in today's digital age...

In the end, contestant Do Phuong Anh, a Law student, won the Miss Beauty award; Contestant Le Thi Quynh Nhu, a student majoring in Business Administration, won 1st runner-up; Contestant Danh Thi Thanh Nhan, a student majoring in English Language, won the 2nd runner-up prize and the talented contestant prize.

On this occasion, Tam Duc Saigon Dental Group awarded 500 dental care packages worth a total of 552 million VND to students.
