On December 11th, Kien Giang University held a Career Counseling and Rewarding Day for 591 good and excellent students in the academic year 2021-2022. The program attracted 24 companies and businesses in the fields of economy, tourism, services, fisheries, agriculture with more than 300 students attending courses.

This time, Kien Giang University rewarded 3 collectives with excellent collective titles; 591 students achieved good and excellent titles in the academic year 2021 - 2022 (In which, 104 students were ranked excellent, 487 students were classified as good); rewarded the students who won the first prize in the innovation startup competition in the Mekong Delta region.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of Kien Giang University sent congratulations to the students for their academic achievements. At the same time, he  emphasized that Kien Giang University is one of the educational institutions in the Mekong Delta to meet the demand for high-quality human resources for socio-economic development in Kien Giang province and the  Mekong Delta region at the present day.

Job counseling day aims to support students in choosing a job, learning about the labor market, listening to direct advice, practical experience, choosing and orienting their future jobs; Creating an environment for recruitment agencies to access human resources and serving & sharing support for students to practice internships and get jobs after graduation.

This time, there were more than 14 booths from companies and businesses such as: Employment Service Center of Kien Giang Province, Vina Phu Quoc Travel, Nam A Bank, Mobiphone Kien Giang, Import-Export and human resources CIP.CO Supply Joint Stock Company in order to contact, consult, and introduce jobs to students; along with 20 booths of branches and faculty to display and exchange startup products.
