On the morning of April 20th , Kien Giang University held the Opening Ceremony of the Civil Service Recruitment Exam, phase 2, 2022.

In 2022, Kien Giang University recruited 37 staff positions for employment positions at units under and under the University, of which there are 26 vacancies of teaching assistant and lecturers,  8 vacancies of specialists; 2 vacancies of faculty secretaries; 1 vacancy of the staff,  in which, the first phase has 44 candidates joining the recruitment , of which 15 candidates were recruited. There are 18 candidates taking part in this exam for 8 job vacancies.

Candidates participating in the recruitment exam of Kien Giang University will go through 2 rounds. Round 1 tests general knowledge in the form of multiple-choice computer-based tests, consisting of 3 parts: general knowledge, foreign languages, and informatics. In the second round, there are specialized professional subjects, with lecturers and teaching assistants, candidates take the teaching practice exam to test their competence, professional qualifications and pedagogical skills; with experts and equivalent positions candidates face-to-face interviews.

Accordingly, candidates must achieve 50% or more of the questions for each part of the exam, then the candidates can continue to take the second round. It is expected that the second round will be held on April 27^th, 2023.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Chairman of the Recruitment Council said that the recruitment organization aims to promptly supplement the contingent of public employees to meet the requirements of performing assigned functions and tasks, contributing to improving the quality of employees, effectiveness and efficiency of the School's operations; at the same time affirming the position and prestige of Kien Giang University. It is recommended that examination staff and candidates strictly follow the exam rules and regulations and successfully complete the exam.
