Attending the opening ceremony there were representatives of Kien Giang University Director Board; representatives of Director Board of the joint training school; leaders of affiliated units and over 140 students.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Vice Rector of Kien Giang University happily welcomed the new students trusting and choosing Kien Giang University for their path to conquer knowledge and improve their qualification; committing to making more efforts to create the best learning environment for learners.

At the same time, he required the new students to develop appropriate, proactive and creative learning methods to complete their tasks, not fall behind and achieve the desired results.

In this batch, 64 candidates were admitted to the part-time university program; 41 candidates were admitted to the university transfer program and 43 candidates participated in credit accumulation at Kien Giang University. 148 new students in this batch were studying in the following majors: Accounting; Law; Business Administration; Information Technology.
