Kien Giang University has just been licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training and the General Department of Vocational Education under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to train Law and Nursing in time to enroll students in the new school year 2019 - 20120.

A STUDENTS' ADMISSION COUNSELLING SESSION 

On April 4^th, 2019, the School received a decision from the Ministry of Education and Training to allow training in Law at university level, major code 7380101 and the General Department of Vocational Education issued a certificate of Nursing training at college level, major code 6720301. These were two new majors, meeting the needs of candidates to choose a suitable major as well as their future career opportunities.

Accordingly, with the addition of two additional training majors: Law and Nursing, Kien Giang University comprised of 14 university-level majors; 04 college-level majors. In addition, the school has also been collaborating with universities across the country to train both studying while working programs.

In the 2019-2020 school year, Kien Giang University was granted an enrollment target of 1,330 university students and 150 college students. In recent years, Kien Giang University has been chosen by many students from Kien Giang province and Mekong Delta provinces. In all majors at school, such college majors as: Seafood Processing and Preservation, Construction Engineering Technology, and Aquaculture are those with 50% theoretical in-class attendance - 50% internship with wages at businesses. As for in the nursing major, the school connected with training businesses and solved employment, mainly in Germany and Japan.
