(KGO) - In 2023, Kien Giang University trains two new majors: international business and agribusiness. With the advantage of matching the needs of the labor market, the two industries promise to bring students many job opportunities with high income.

In recent years, Kien Giang University has expanded its scale with the structure of training majors selected based on the school's physical facilities and human resources, and at the same time in line with market needs and human resource requirements for socio-economic development services of the province, region and the whole country with the opening of two new majors, in 2023, the university enrolls 22 majors with 1,675 quotas.

AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS POTENTIAL

Agribusiness also provides basic knowledge of agricultural science and technology for learners to facilitate management and business activities. “The export and import activities directly or indirectly related to agricultural products are growing, so business opportunities in the domestic and export agricultural sectors are vibrant in Vietnam. Therefore, the agribusiness industry has the potential to develop and get rich by doing business in the agricultural sector,” said Dr. Duong Van Nha.

Agribusiness students can become managers, analysts, experts in the fields of agribusiness, supply chain, agribusiness purchasing, agribusiness marketing, market research, and agribusiness. agribusiness school; export and import agricultural products and agricultural materials; analysis of investment projects in agriculture; analysis of investment and transaction of agricultural commodities, analysis of agricultural product value chains and models of production and consumption of agricultural products; economic policy analysis and agricultural markets.
