Visit and gain experience from consumed food research and production in Nha Trang.

Recently, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Vice Rector in charge of Kien Giang University led the delegation along with professional staff who had a business trip, learning experience on how to organize research, produce food products and consume from natural materials and by-products at Nha Trang University and Thinh Yen Nha Trang Company Limited.

Accordingly, the delegation had 2 days to visit and work with the localities. On January 19th , the delegation came to work at the Food Processing Research Center of Nha Trang University. At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Dat introduced the production area and exchanged experience on good and effective ways of doing things. At the same time, the group also enjoyed some typical products such as oyster essence, cordyceps juice, bird's nest...

Food Processing Research Center is a unit under Nha Trang University, established to meet the urgent need in developing scientific research topics from experimental research to production and aiming to commercializing products. Currently, the unit has 43 commercial products. In 2021, the Center's products have been recognized by the Institute of Competitive Survey and Evaluation in collaboration with the Asian Research Institute as being in the Top 50 strong Vietnamese brands. The Center's products have passed and met strict requirements on food safety regulations and product quality inspection for consumers’ health.

Next, on January 20th , in order to learn experience in the model of producing consumed products from natural materials and waste by-products, the delegation went to Thinh Yen Co., Ltd. - Nha Trang.

With the spirit of protecting the environment and minimizing activities in daily life and production, the company has taken advantage of and exploited local raw materials and scraps to create many friendly and organic healthy products.

The owner of the company is Ms. Ha Thi Hai Yen, who has a PhD in Technical Chemistry in Austria. She has applied her professional knowledge to production activities to create many natural products. The company’s typical products are hair care, skin care, family care, aromatherapy products... all of natural origin, environmentally friendly and healthy.

Ms. Ha Thi Hai Yen was introducing the products to the group.

The business trip brought many meaningful and effective experience on how to organize - manage and produce products probably applied at Kien Giang University, which contributes to the development of the school, meeting the conditions for implementing application-oriented training programs.
