According to Decision No. 1065/QD-UBND dated April 24^th, 2023 of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province on awarding the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 4 collectives that have made extraordinary achievements at the Startup and Innovation Contest in 2022, in which, Kien Giang University has 2 groups awarded Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Decision No. 1065/QD-UBND dated April 24, 2023 of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province on awarding Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 4 collectives that have made extraordinary achievements at the Competition Start-up innovation in 2022.

Accordingly, two groups of students were awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province, including: a group of students implementing the project "Green anchovies" and a group of students implementing the project "Green bananas".

In 2022, the "Green Anchovy" project won the first prize of the Innovation Startup Idea Contest – KGU Startup; First prize in Kien Giang province's Innovation Startup Contest, the second time; First prize in the Contest of Ideas for Start-ups and Innovations in the Mekong Delta region, the first time.

The Green Anchovy Project won the first prize of the Contest of Ideas for Students, Startups and Innovations in the Mekong Delta, the first time.

The project “Green Banana” won the second prize of the Innovation Startup Idea Contest – KGU Startup; third prize in Kien Giang province's Innovation Startup Contest, the second time; Consolation prize in the Contest of Ideas for Students, Startups and Innovations in the Mekong Delta region, the first time.
