On August 30th, Kien Giang University organized a workshop "Experiences and solutions to improve the effectiveness of innovative start-up activities in universities", attracting more than 50 delegates to attend.

Speaking at the conference, Dr. Nguyen Trung Cang - Vice Rector of Kien Giang University said that the conference aimed to create conditions and forums for components of the ecosystem and network to support students and start-ups in and outside the province innovating to have the opportunities to exchange, discuss, share experiences, and propose solutions to gradually improve the efficiency and role of each component of the network in the operation process, contributing to promoting start-up innovative activities of educational institutions locally, regionally and nationwide.

5 presentations were presented in the workshop and such contents were shared as: Experience in implementing the model to support innovative start-up activities of Kien Giang University; Models for promoting and supporting startups at Tra Vinh University;

Mentoring and coaching programs in startups - "consulting stat-up experts, new businesses" and "Enquiring for leaders and professional coaches"; Experience in building good relationships between training institutions and businesses in supporting student startups and innovation; Solutions to improve the effectiveness of innovative start-up support activities at Kien Giang College.

On this occasion, to strengthen operational capacity and enhance cooperation in the field of innovative startups, Kien Giang University signed a cooperation agreement with the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technology Arboretum.  Accordingly, the two units was increasing information exchanges, experiences sharing , and consulting on technical issues in various fields; Strengthening coordination in implementing training programs, linkages and cooperation in scientific research activities, technological arboretum, supporting innovative start-ups, supporting training and other fields, …
