Coordinating to deploy the VIII Technical Creativity Contest and the IV Youth and Children Creativity Contest in Kien Giang province.
On February 26th, at Kien Giang University, a working session took place between the Organizing Committee of the VIII Technical Creativity Contest (2020 - 2021) and the 8th Kien Giang Province Youth and Children Creativity Contest IV (2020 - 2021) with the School Board of Directors.
Attended the meeting MSc. Luong Thanh Hai - Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Kien Giang province; Dr. Nguyen Xuan Niem - Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology of Kien Giang province; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Rector, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Vice Rector and members.
Mr. Luong Thanh Hai - Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Kien Giang province spoke at the meeting.
The working session was held on organizing and calling for participation in the Technical Creativity Contest and the Youth and Children Creativity Contest for students and lecturers studying and working at Kien Giang University.
Regarding the VIII Kien Giang Province Technical Innovation Contest (2020 - 2021), individuals and organizations can send their applications until June 30th , 2021 in such fields as: information technology, Electronics and Telecommunication; mechanical automation, construction, transportation; materials, chemicals, energy; agriculture, forestry, fishery, natural resources and environment; pharmacy; education – training, …
Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Rector of Kien Giang University spoke at the meeting.
Evaluation criteria for competing solutions must be updated and creative compared to existing solutions in Vietnam, widely applicable in the province's conditions and be able to bring high efficiency in terms of economy - technology – society.
As for the IV Kien Giang Province Youth and Children Creativity Contest (2020 - 2021), contestants are provincial young adults, teenagers and children aged from 6 to 19 in various fields: supplies for learning; computer software; friendly products with the environment; household living tools, children's toys; solutions to respond to climate change to protect the environment and develop the economy.

Requirements and evaluation standards for contest topics: Contest models and products must be unique and creative; Contest models and products must be created according to the contestant's good ideas; Contest product models must be made from available, non-hazardous materials...
