On the afternoon of January 28th, at the Meeting Room of the Authority Area of Building A, a meeting to accept the 2020 school-level science and technology project took place: "Investigation of Flavonoid content and antioxidant capacity of pineapple extract (Ananas comosus) at Tac Cau - Kien Giang province" by MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Hau - Lecturer of the Faculty of Agriculture and Rural Development was the chairwoman.

The acceptance committee included: Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Rector, President; MSc. Le Hoang Phuong, Deputy Director of the Center for Practice Management - Experiment, Reviewer 1; MSc. Huynh Kim Yen, Lecturer of the Faculty of Agriculture and Rural Development, Reviewer 2; MSc. Tran Nguyen Chat, Lecturer of the Faculty of Agriculture and Rural Development, Member; Dr. Duong Van Nha, Head of Department of Science and Technology Cooperation, Member - Secretary. The main research contents in the project has been carried out consisted of the following: Making up extract from pineapples; Quantifying total flavonoids in pineapple extracts; Evaluating the antioxidant capacity of pineapple extract.

Overview of the Acceptance Council.

After the project chairwoman/ leader reported the summary of the research results, the reviewers and council members took turns providing comments as well as asking questions for the Project chairwoman to explain more clearly. The content of Council members' opinions mainly revolves around the following issues: wording, layout, and form of the report; Scientific basis and methods of conducting experiments and measuring indicators during the research process; basis for choosing solvents; Logic and consistency in arranging and presenting data and research results...

MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Hau, Head of the project reported to the Council.

MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Hau received comments from Council members and explained and provided some additional information to clarify the issues raised by Council members. In addition, it is worth noting that through conducting research, the Project Leader has also published 03 scientific articles in scientific journals in the list of scientific journals scored by the Council of Professors of the State University.

Council members voted for evaluation scores and the average score was 73.4/100 - rated Fair.
