Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Trinh Le Hoang Tuan - Secretary of the Youth Union of Kien Giang University reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese Youth Union in general and the Youth Union of Kien Giang University in particular.

At the same time emphasizing the past 92 years along with the development of the country under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam and the great Uncle Ho, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and generations of Vietnamese youth have adding the glorious traditions of the previous generations, continuing the tradition of passionate patriotism, absolute loyalty to the Party, close attachment to the interests of the nation and the people.

On this occasion, the Union of Kien Giang University honored and awarded 13 typical young Party members, 16 typical young faces, 67 typical young union members; admitted 58 union members; held a mature ceremony for 12 comrades and presented the list of 57 elite union members to the Party for consideration and admission. These are individuals who have achieved many good achievements in learning, creativity and scientific research; physical training, sports; as well as volunteer activities for community life.

Previously, the Union of Kien Giang University organized a series of practical activities in response to Youth Month, to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2023). such as: organizing the peak launch of Green Sunday, Volunteering Saturday, responding to "Each youth 10,000 steps per day" to more than 4,500 union members and young people throughout the University; planting 400 new trees, cleaning roads; greening the campus, renovating the "Green - clean - beautiful" environment.
