Kien Giang University currently has 68 Lao and Cambodian students studying. The organization of visiting activities, cultural exchanges, physical training and sports in order to promptly motivate, share and encourage students to strive to fulfill their study tasks well.

On October 14, Kien Giang Provincial Youth Union, Kien Giang Youth Activity Center and Kien Giang University's delegation organized a friendship exchange program for Kien Giang - Laos - Cambodia youth who are studying at the University. Kien Giang University, the second time in 2022.

The program organized games and collective activities among students from 3 countries; cultural exchange with the theme "Youths unite for peace" with many unique cultural performances, imbued with the national identity of students from each country.

Awarding scholarships to students of Kien Giang - Laos – Cambodia

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union of Kien Giang province awarded 68 scholarships (worth 1 million VND each) to students from Laos and Cambodia; 20 scholarships for Vietnamese students with difficult circumstances studying at Kien Giang University.
