VII session of the 2014 - 2019 term, Kien Giang University Council.

On the morning of August 15th, 2019, at the meeting room of the administrative area - Kien Giang University, the Council of Kien Giang University for the 2014-2019 term held the seventh session. Dr. Dang Thanh Son - Chairman of the Council chaired the meeting.

Overview of the 7th session of the 2014 - 2019 term of Kien Giang University Council.

At the VII session, members of the University Council for the 2014 - 2019 term discussed and approved the draft regulations on organization and operation of Kien Giang University. Once approved, the organization and operation regulations of Kien Giang University will be implemented until the end of August 2019, then amended and supplemented to be consistent with the 2018 Law on Higher Education.

Here, the Board of Authorities also approved the report on the results of implementing tasks for the 2018 - 2019 school year, and the direction of tasks for the 2019 - 2020 school year; Asked for opinions on the Regulations on organization and operation of Kien Giang University, amended and supplemented according to the Law on Education and Training 2018; Asked for opinions on staffing and recruitment plans for 2019; Asked for opinions on the 2020 budget revenue and expenditure estimate plan; Asked for opinions on investment in procurement and capital construction in 2020; Asked for opinions on plans to create resources to train young PhDs till 2025; Asked for opinions on the use of candidates' foreign language certifying papers/certificates in the 2019 employee recruitment; Asked for opinions on the establishment of a Service Center on the basis of the Boarding Management Board, operating 100% autonomously from the 2019 - 2020 school year.
