Attended Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Hieu Dan - Deputy Head of Kien Giang Internal Political Security Protection Department, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Duong Muoi - Deputy Head of Chau Thanh District Police, Head of the Steering Committee for implementing coordination regulations to ensure maintaining security and order, fighting crime in the higher education environment; Leaders of Kien Giang University, local commune police adjacent to the university and members of related affiliated units.

Through coordination, the district police and the school's Board of Directors organized propaganda campaigns of property thieves and other acts of violence in the school area in 16 cases with 768 turns of officials, employees, and students attended. They coordinated patrols inside and outside the school for 92 times with 667 participations. The school coordinated with the police force of Vinh Hoa Hiep commune, Vinh Hoa Phu and Minh Luong town to inspect 02 internal and external campus residence.

The school arranged security teams, fire prevention teams, and rescue teams. The school met 06/06 criteria for educational institutions, classified as a unit meeting the standard of "Safety, security and order".

With good coordination between the two units, in 2022 Kien Giang University had no incidents related to security and order, recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting the "Safety, Security and Order" standard, ranked excellent.

During the preliminary meeting, members of the two sides and representatives of the provincial police proposed, suggested and proposed more coordination options, especially solutions for dealing with cyberspace. Training the capabilities of security teams, new and more modern and strict management methods were also proposed.

At the conference, the Steering Committee for the implementation of coordination regulations approved a plan to ensure security and order, fighting against crime in the educational environment in 2023. Rewards were given to 02 collectives and 03 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing coordination work to ensure security and order at Kien Giang University in 2022./.
