On the evening of December 25th, Kien Giang University Youth Union organized the "Miss KGU 2020" contest with the jury members including: Dr. Nguyen Huu Tho - Head of Pedagogy and Social Sciences Faculty; MSc. Pham Thi Hong Nhu - Head of Personnel Organization Department; MSc. Truong Thi Tu Tran - Deputy Head of Food Science and Health Faculty and Mr. Tien Thanh Son - Kien Giang Provincial Youth Union.

The contest attracted the attention of union members and youth of Kien Giang University in the excellent performances and competitions of 18 contestants representing the Youth from Faculty Unions.

The contestants went through the competitions: Female students’ Talent and Female students’ charming. The contestants showed their physical beauty through performances: ao dai costumes, sports wears, evening gowns. And finally, there came the situation-solving competition.

The jury selected the worthy awards for Miss KGU 2020 because of the performances of 18 contestants, specifically: Beauty Queen belonged to contestant number 02 Tran Thi Thao Ngoc - Group B17NA5; 1st Runner-up Queen belonged to contestant number 01 Nguyen Dang Kha Tu - Group B17KT3; 2nd Queen belonged to contestant number 10 Nguyen Ngoc Anh Tuyet - Group B17NA3.
