The two sides built a close connection to share resources and cooperate sustainably on the basis of maximizing the available resources and conditions of both sides to effectively serve the development of the two units and of Hau Giang province.

In addition, the two units will coordinate to organize contests, scientific seminars, and apply information technology to teaching and learning activities for high school teachers and students in the provincial area in other forms; step by step connecting and transferring university degrees.

According to Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Trung Cang - Vice Rector of the University Kien Giang, in 2024 Kien Giang University has applied a policy to attract learners with 100% tuition exemption for the entire course for students who won prizes at provincial, national and international competitions, with 50% tuition fee exemption/entire course for students with continuous study results for 3 years of high school with excellent academic performance or better and good conduct with a maximum number of 20 places/year for students from Hau Giang high schools.

In addition, the school also supports and waives dormitory fees from 50% to 100% of the entire course for each subject. Particularly, students with household registration in Hau Giang province registering to follow majors in the fields of agriculture and environment will be 100% exempt from tuition in the first semester.
