The 2020 high school graduation exam score ranged from 14 to 18.5 to be considered for admission to Kien Giang University.

Kien Giang University has announced the score for receiving official university admission application by using the results of the 2020 high school graduation exam, the Mathematics Education major gets the highest entrance score with a score of 18.5.

On September 25^th, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Rector of Kien Giang University, said that the admission board of Kien Giang University has announced the passing scores for admission by major with the admission method using the results of the 2020 high school graduation exam with a level from 14 to 18.5 points.

Accordingly, the Mathematics Education major is the major with the highest admission score of 18.5 points, followed by the Business Administration major with 17 points. The remaining sectors received application points at 14.

Based on the number of admission applications for each major, the Admissions Council of Kien Giang University determined successful candidates according to the principle of taking scores from the highest to the end of the target in each admission period announced by the University. For candidates with equal scores, priority will be given to admission based on the main subject of the admission subject combination.

In case candidates wanted to adjust their wishes, they could go directly to the high school where they studied before September 27^th to register to adjust their wishes.

To encourage students to register for majors in the environmental and agricultural engineering groups, Kien Giang University implemented a policy of 30% tuition reduction for majors in these two groups. According to Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh, students majoring in industries in the fields of environment and agriculture were easy to find jobs because they are consistent with social development orientation, well serving the needs of human resources to develop key local economic sectors.

This year, Kien Giang University enrolls 1,250 students in 16 majors, including: English Language; Accountant; Business administration; Biotechnology; Crop Science; Breeding; Aquaculture; Environmental Technology; Environmental resource management; Information Technology; Construction Engineering Technology; Food Technology; Law; Mathematics Pedagogy; Banking and Finance, Vietnamese Language & Vietnamese Culture. And 300 targets in 6 branches (Fisheries management; Marine science; Thermal engineering; Electrical - Electronic engineering; Automotive Engineering; Ship engineering) coordinated with Nha Trang University to train according to 2+2 method (2 years, studying at Kien Giang University and 2 years studying at Nha Trang University).

Currently, Kien Giang University has more than 1,000 new students officially enrolled according to the academic transcript admission method.
