On the morning of April 7th, at exam site No. 89, Kien Giang University, many candidates showed up very early to see the exam room layout with a quite comfortable mentality. More than 1,000 high school candidates in Kien Giang province and neighboring provinces participated in the Competency Assessment Exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University, phase 1, 2024.

The organization of the exam was carried out seriously.

Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Vice Rector in charge, Head of the Examination Cluster at Kien Giang University said: the examination departments at Kien Giang University had been trained, thoroughly grasped the regulations of the Competency Assessment Exam, and were fully present to perform the task. Meanwhile, officials in charge of testing mission were required to seriously perform their duties according to their assigned positions, coordinate smoothly among departments during the operational process, not to be negligent and not to create pressure on examinees, ensuring the exam to take place safely, objectively, and according to regulations.

Exam room supervisors accepted assignments

At the Kien Giang University exam site, there were 1,048 candidates registering to take the exam, Of whom, there were 1,009 candidates taking the official exam (96.28%), 39 candidates were absent (3.72%). The school arranged 36 exam rooms (1 backup exam room), mobilized 113 officials to organize and proctor the exam, and 10 students to do support work.

The examiner called the candidate's name into the exam room.

This was the third year that Ho Chi Minh City National University had organized the competency assessment exam at Kien Giang University to create favorable conditions for candidates in Kien Giang province and neighboring provinces participating in the exam. Meanwhile, this was also the third year that Kien Giang University had used the results of the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University as admission score entering 24 majors of the University.
