From April 7th to April 15th, 2023, representatives of students majoring in Mathematics Education - Kien Giang University participated in the 30th Student Mathematics Olympiad. This exam was organized Held at Duy Tan University - Da Nang.

The participating delegation from Kien Giang University was led by Ms. Pham Thi Thuong - Lecturer of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Humanities, together with 04 students in the University's Mathematics Olympiad team. The final result was that Kien Giang University won 02 consolation prizes in the Calculus and Algebra competitions.

It is known that for many consecutive years, Kien Giang University students have won prizes in the national Mathematics Olympiads. This was a proud achievement of Kien Giang University in general and of the University's Mathematics Education students in particular.
