At the visit and congratulation, Mr. Mai Van Huynh, on behalf of the provincial leaders, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and all levels of the Kien Giang province, sent his best wishes to the teachers working at Kien Giang University, wishing them good health, success, and living up to the wishes of President Ho Chi Minh "for the 10-year career of planting trees, for the 100-year career of educating people".

In addition, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee commented that Kien Giang University was the only university in the province that gathered many leading lecturers; in the past time, the Director Board and teachers had made many efforts to develop the University; contributing to the province's fight against Covid-19 with many initiatives, timely work that was highly appreciated, ensuring continuous training quality.

Mr. Mai Van Huynh suggested that Kien Giang University continue to enhance its reputation, manage effectively, enhance increasingly the position of the University along with the development of Kien Giang province; maintain the quality of training, pay more attention to attracting more qualified, knowledgeable and experienced lecturers because the teaching staff was the main factor determining the training quality of the University.

In response, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh was pleased to send his thanks to the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Kien Giang province for their attention to organizing a delegation to visit and congratulate Kien Giang University on the occasion of November 20^th, which was a motivating force for the University to strive for further development.

Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh reported that in school year 2019-2020, Kien Giang University completed 08/11 targets set out in the Resolution. In particular, enrollment improved reached 1,246/1,250 targets, which was the highest enrollment result of the university to date, and a great effort from the school. It was expected that Kien Giang University would open more majors in entertainment logistics, hotel and restaurant management, tourism, etc... to meet the demand for well-qualified labor for the province.
