On May 24th, 2019, Kien Giang University organized the third training session on internal quality assurance and self-assessment of higher education institutions according to Circular No. 12/2017/Circular-Ministry of Education &Training dated May 19th, 2017 of the Ministry of Education and Training promulgating regulations on quality accreditation of higher education institutions (referred to as Circular No. 12/2017/ Circular-Ministry of Education &Training).

Previously, the school organized the first training session with the topic: "Building, managing and evaluating training programs according to output standards" with the presentation of the distinguished teacher reporter, Ph.D. Nguyen. Kim Dung, Deputy Director of the Institute of Educational Research, Ho Chi Minh University of Pedagogy;

The second training session started with the following topics: "Building an internal quality assurance system and implementing a system of tools to monitor quality assurance activities" and "Improving university administration capacity to meet the requirements, standards of quality assurance of the Ministry of Education and Training" presented by rapporteur MA. Nguyen Huu Tho, Head of Testing and Quality Assurance Department.

This third training session was with the topic: "Self-assessment of higher education institutions according to Circular No. 12/217/ Circular-Ministry of Education &Training " by rapporteurs Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh and MA. Le Thi Kieu Diem with the participation of 77 members who are leaders of units, the Secretariat of the University Quality Assurance Council and Self-Assessment of Kien Giang University. At the training session, after listening to the presentation of specific content from the presenters, the trainee participants discussed, exchanged, shared and resolved questions and concerns to apply into their specific situations at the university.

The training took place successfully in a serious, qualitative and effective atmosphere, providing knowledge about internal quality assurance, knowledge about building, managing and evaluating training programs according to output standards for staff, lecturers, and experts of the school.
