Ngày 29/2, Công đoàn Cơ sở Trường Đại học Kiên Giang phát động hưởng ứng “Tuần lễ Áo dài” đến viên chức, giảng viên, phụ nữ trong toàn Trường.

This is a movement launched every year at Kien Giang University. Accordingly, female trade union members who are officials and lecturers will wear ao dai during working days from March 4^th to March 8^th, 2024, contributing to inspiring and spreading meaningful and positive messages about love, national pride, the country, people and Vietnamese ao dai.

"Ao dai Week" aims to honor the value of Vietnamese ao dai and arouse pride and responsibility to preserve and promote Vietnamese cultural heritage in every woman and people.

In addition, to celebrate the 114^th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8^th, 1910 - March 8^th , 2024), 1984 year of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, the Grassroots Trade Union of Kien Giang University also organized a flower arrangement competition with the theme "KGU Women and the formation and development of the University"; meeting to review the traditions and historical significance of International Women's Day on March 8^th .
