On December 11th, Kien Giang University organized a Job Consulting and Awards Day for 591 excellent students in school year 2021-2022. The program attracted 24 companies and enterprises in the fields of economics, tourism, services, fisheries, agriculture and more than 300 students from all courses’ attendance.

This time, Kien Giang University awarded 3 collectives with the titles of excellent collectives; 591 students with the titles of excellent ones in school year 2021-2022 (including 104 students with excellent grades, 487 students with good grades); awarded students with first prize in Mekong Delta region's innovation and entrepreneurship competition.

Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Party Secretary, KGU Rector and Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Rector  awarded Certificates of Merit to excellent students in school year 2021 - 2022.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Party Secretary, Rector of Kien Giang University sent his congratulations to the students achieving academic success. At the same time, he emphasized that Kien Giang University was one of the educational institutions in Mekong Delta meeting the demand for high-quality human resources to serve the socio-economic development in Kien Giang province and Mekong Delta region today.

"For more than 8 years of construction and development, Kien Giang University had been always receiving contributions and companionship from companies and businesses; supporting the school in the process of building training programs, connecting students with internships, experiments and supporting students to have jobs after graduation" - Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh said.

The job counseling day aimed to support students in choosing jobs, learning about the labor market, receiving direct advice, experiencing reality, choosing and orienting future jobs; creating an environment for recruiting units to access human resources and servants, sharing support for students to practice and be employed after graduation.

This time, there were more than 14 booths from companies and businesses such as: Kien Giang Provincial Employment Service Center, Vina Phu Quoc Travel, Nam A Bank, Mobi phone Kien Giang, CIP.CO Import-Export and Human Resources Supply Joint Stock Company; ... contacting, consulting, introducing jobs for students; along with 20 booths of branches and faculty unions displaying and exchanging startup products.
