On the evening of June 13th, Kien Giang University organized an online consultation session with the topic “Strategy for high school graduation exam and adjusting university admission wishes in 2021”. Attending the consultation session there were 02 speakers: Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh - Rector; MA Ton Hoang Ho - Lecturer Pedagogy and Social Sciences Faculty; and MC was MA. Ngoc Anh - Lecturer of Economics – Tourism Faculty.

At the consultation session, the speakers shared their experiences in effective exam preparation, problems encountered during the review process, how to do multiple choice tests, regenerating learning energy, preparing mentally before the exam, proactively recall, how to create excitement, confidence... At the same time, they guided 12^th grade students on how to adjust their university admission wishes, choose a career that suited their abilities, interests and family economic conditions.

According to Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh, university was not the only way to have a good future, you could choose to study at intermediate or college level, then transferred to university when you needed to improve your qualifications. Students should choose their major based on the labor market where they lived or in the area of ​​work they were aiming at.

Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh commented: Currently, the labor market in Phu Quoc city was attracting human resources in the fields of: construction engineering, information technology, tourism, plant science, ... so students after graduating would have high employment opportunities.

He also shared that studying at university must be associated with self-study, and lecturers played the role of guiding students on how to study, how to proactively study to have the best amount of knowledge, meeting the requirements of work.
