On December 4th , the Politburo and the Secretariat organized a national conference to research, study, and thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the Eighth Conference of the Central Party Committee, term XIII. According to the Conference program, the delegates listened to their Politburo member, President Vo Van Thuong’s thematic speech: Continuing to promote traditions and the strength of great national unity, enabling our country to become more prosper and happier.

Another Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh continued with the topic: Innovating and improving the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of establishing and protecting the Motherland in the new period.

General Phan Van Giang, a Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense presented his topic: protecting the fatherland strategies in the current social situation.

Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia conveyed the theme: Continuing to contributing and promoting the roles of the intellectual team in order to meet the need of rapid and sustainable national development in the current period .
