On the morning of March 26th, more than 1,040 candidates from high schools in Kien Giang province and neighboring provinces came to Kien Giang University to attend the Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Exam, round 1, 2023.

The invigilator called the candidates' names to enter the examination room.

According to Kien Giang University Examination Cluster, although candidates were not called into the examination room until 7:30 am., many candidates arrived at the examination site from after 6:00 a.m. Preparations for entering the examination room were thorough and smooth. Candidates were instructed to adjust information promptly.

The invigilator held a council meeting before the exam.

Present at the exam site very early, My Hang, a 12^th grade student at Nguyen Trung Truc High School (Kien Giang), shared: “This is the exam that I have been looking forward to, I am now ready for the exam because I have reviewed and solved the previous years' questions. This time I registered to take the exam to self-test and receive score to be considered for admission to the Oriental Studies major at University of Social Sciences and Humanities”.

Meanwhile, Ho Phuc Thien, a 12^th grade student at Binh Son High School, said that currently colleges and universities applied many admission methods, so he and his group members felt quite comfortable when preparing to enter the exam room. Their group registered to take the exam to self-test and expand their opportunities to be considered for admission to the universities they loved.

The organization of the exam was carried out seriously.

Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Head of the Examination Cluster of Kien Giang University, said that Kien Giang University had fully prepared facilities, established an inspection team, and inspected the organization of the exam. At the same time, the staff and invigilators were required to comply with regulations, ensuring the exam was safe and objective.

This time, Kien Giang University coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City National University to arrange 43 official exam rooms and 1 backup exam room. Each exam room accommodated from 17 to 24 candidates.

The school assigned 141 staff to participate in the exam organization, including 88 exam invigilators. This was the second year that Ho Chi Minh City National University had organized the competency assessment exam at Kien Giang University to create favorable conditions for candidates in Kien Giang province and neighboring provinces to participate in the exam.
