The Foreign Language Party Cell organized Congress term V , 2025-2028, summarizing the results of implementing the Resolution of the 4th Congress, 2022-2025, electing a new Executive Committee, focusing on improving the quality of training and political education in the coming term.

On October 23^rd, 2024, Foreign Language Party Cell solemnly organized the Party Congress term V of Party Cell, 2025-2028. Attending and directing the Congress there were comrade Ngo Van Thien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Kien Giang University, and representatives of the Party Cells under the Party Committee of the University.

The Foreign Language Party Cell at the Party Congress for term V, 2025 – 2028

At the Congress, party members listened to a political report summarizing the results achieved in term IV, 2022-2025. The report stated that Foreign Language Party Cell has excellently completed the assigned political and professional tasks, especially in improving the quality of teaching and cooperation with domestic and foreign units. The rate of students achieving good or better academic results has increased compared to the beginning of the term. Party building work has also been focused on with many activities to train and develop new party members, contributing to strengthening the Party Cell.

The Foreign Language Party Cell Executive Committee for the 2025 – 2028 term were introduced to the Congress.

Regarding the direction for the 2025-2028 term, Foreign Language Party Cell has determined to focus on continuing to improve the quality of training, promoting the application of technology in teaching, and striving to make the Foreign Language Department a leading unit in innovating foreign language teaching methods. In addition, the Party Cell will strengthen political and ideological education for cadres, lecturers and students, aiming to build a team with strong political will, meeting the increasingly high requirements of education and training.

Comrade Ngo Van Thien spoke at the Congress

The Congress elected the Executive Committee for the new term with 03 elected comrades including comrade Nguyen Van Thong, comrade Thieu Thi Hoang Oanh and comrade Nguyen Tran Thao Linh. Comrade Nguyen Van Thong continued to be trusted to hold the position of Party Cell Secretary and comrade Thieu Thi Hoang Oanh was re-elected as Deputy Party Cell Secretary.
