For the Party and the Year of the Dragon 2024 celebration, in the past few days, Kien Giang University Youth Union has organized many practical and meaningful youth activities, contributing to taking care of young union members and policy families in Chau Thanh district on Tet occasion.

Union members and youth of Kien Giang University participated in voluntary blood donation

Promoting the role of volunteering, solidarity, mutual love and raising awareness of "Volunteering for the community", Kien Giang University delegation organized the first voluntary blood donation in 2024. More than 300 young union members consisting of officials, lecturers, and students participated in donating blood, offering an additional 249 units of blood, contributing to meeting the emergency and treatment needs during Tet and immediately after Tet.

Along with that, many Spring celebration activities are taking place to preserve the national cultural identity during the traditional Tet, promoting cultural exchange activities, creating a useful, dynamic, and healthy playground for union members and young people throughout the school. Competitions such as decorating miniature landscapes and arranging five-fruit trays created "highlights" about the characteristics of traditional Tet customs, attracting nearly 1,000 members’ participation, contributing to the fresh Tet atmosphere, filled with joy.

Joining the New Year atmosphere, the Board of Directors, School Youth Union, and Student Association of Kien Giang University assigned a delegation to pay visits for wishing New Year, and offering gifts to celebrate the new spring to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Thi Ma (Chau Thanh, Kien Giang). This has been an annual activity, a noble gesture of the youth of Kien Giang University for many years, with the desire to join hands with the locality to take care of the lives of heroic Vietnamese Mothers.
