Organizing the Launching Ceremony of Youth Month 2021

On the morning of March 2nd, Kien Giang University Youth Union held a launching ceremony for Youth Month 2021 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Foundation (March 26th , 1931 - March 26th, 2021).

Attended the ceremony were Comrade Truong Thanh Thuy - Secretary of Kien Giang Provincial Youth Union; To Thi Duy Linh - Head of Children's Department - Schools, Kien Giang Provincial Youth Union; Dr. Dang Thanh Son - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Council of Kien Giang University; MSc. Le Viet Khai - Secretary of the School Youth Union, President of the Student Union, and more than 200 officials, union members, and youth of Kien Giang University.

More than 200 officials and youth union members attended the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2021

Speaking at the ceremony, MSc. Le Viet Khai - Secretary of the University Youth Union, President of the Student Association of Kien Giang University emphasized: The launching ceremony of Youth Month 2021 is an important content, organized to promote the spirit of initiative, volunteerism, Youth creativity to participate in activities for the benefit of the community and society; to mobilize organizations and individuals to invest and develop youth. This is also an activity marking the beginning of the Union's work, strengthening propaganda work to raise awareness of compliance with the Youth Law, including the purpose, meaning, and content of Youth Month.

Comrade Truong Thanh Thuy and Dr. Dang Thanh Son handed over the decision to the Youth Month 2021 Organizing Committee.

On the same morning, Kien Giang University Delegation also organized a signing of a commitment between the University Union and 8 Faculty Unions with the content "Kien Giang University students say no to drugs and social evils in 2021”.

KG University sudents signed a commitment of saying no to drugs and social evils.

Introducing and implementing the fundraising program to support youth union members in difficult circumstances in the 2020-2021 school year. The program is implemented by the School Youth Union in collaboration with VNPT Chau Thanh branch, expected to be awarded on March 26^th.

Mr. Ha Ngoc Cuong - Deputy Director of VNPT Chau Thanh district branch introduced the fundraising program to support youth students in difficult circumstances in the 2020-2021 school year.

At the same time, launching a contest to learn about President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the 80^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's return to lead the Vietnamese Revolution (1941 - 2021) to more than 4,000 youth union members.
