Kien Giang University strictly implements Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control
On the morning of February 22nd, Kien Giang University welcomed over 3,000 students out of a total of more than 4,500 enrolled students. Before opening the school gates to welcome students, the school has prepared epidemic prevention measures.

The University's Youth Union conducted body temperature measurements for students before entering the school.
Previously, the school sprayed disinfectant and antiseptic chemicals on classroom surfaces and experimental practice areas; installed boxes containing dry hand sanitizers in restrooms, elevators, and areas where people frequently enter and exit; set up body temperature check points; prepared medical masks; used social networks for academic advisors to disseminate necessary information to students and reminded students to declare medical information honestly and responsibly.
The University's Youth Union forces measured body temperature and sprayed hand sanitizer for students before entering the school.
At the same time, they set up inspection teams to each class, reminded lecturers and students to implement epidemic prevention measures, synthesized medical declared data, and distributed masks to those not having them.
Lecturers and students practiced social distancing and wore masks in class.
“In each period, the school will let lecturers take photos of students' sitting positions when entering class, arrange seats in a distanced manner, strictly comply with epidemic prevention task and proactively grasp and handle cases of problems" - Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh said.
