From February 3rd to 5th, Kien Giang University held an exhibition and introduced more than 400 traditional books and 3,000 digital documents at the Book Street of Chieu Anh Cac Hoi Tao Dan. Book Street is part of a series of activities in response to the 287th anniversary of the Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac (1736 - 2023), held in Ha Tien city (Kien Giang).

At this time, Kien Giang University organized activities on the Book Street of Chieu Anh Cac Tao Dan Festival such as: folding model art books; displaying books by topic: life skills books, literature books, art books of publishers; introducing electronic library, specialized textbooks compiled by Kien Giang University, displaying models, specimens, students’ startup products; organizing games, introducing the information and images of the School…….

According to Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Vice President of Kien Giang University: In this round, Kien Giang University selected more than 400 books and 3,000 digital documents introduced at Book Street with the desire to contribute to a variety of sources of materials for you to read in many forms, combining traditional books and e-books, making it easier for readers to access information and learning materials.

In addition to Kien Giang University's booth, Chieu Anh Cac Tao Dan Association Book Street also has 5 more booths to display, exhibit and introduce books by publishers in various fields and books about Ha Tien, Kien Giang, about Mac Cuu, Mac Thien Tich,... and many other activities such as: Mobile library, exhibition of stamps & pictures, story-telling contest, film screening about Ha Tien relics and landscapes.

This year is the first year that the Organization of Chieu Anh Tao Dan Festivals has held the Book Street of Chieu Anh Cac Tao Dan Festival in Ha Tien city. The organization of Book Street is an activity to create a healthy and useful cultural playground for a wide range of readers, especially pupils and children, which is an activity to honor reading culture aspects in meaningful diversity, especially political, cultural and social meanings.
