On January 17th, 2019 at Kien Giang University, an event of cultural exchange, cuisine, folk games took place between the delegation of Kien Giang University and Andalas University - Indonesia. This is an opportunity to strengthen cultural, artistic and culinary exchanges between the two universities.

The event took place with the participation of Vietnamese, Cambodian and Indonesian student unions along with exchange activities such as: Organizing folk games such as: Tugging of war, Reminding and saying names, Solidarity, etc… The meaning of the games that the students participate in is aiming to strengthen solidarity, friendship, exchange national cultural identity but equally friendly, dynamic, fun and receive the support of the enthusiastic students’ participation.

Besides, there are also cultural exchange activities with traditional dishes with typical flavors of the West of Vietnam.

Cultural and artistic exchange activities took place with special performances on national culture from the student delegations of Kien Giang University, Cambodia and Indonesia. In addition to the performances imbued with the national cultural identity of Cambodia and Indonesia, the young people also brought lively, youthful and modern folk dance performances.

Also on this occasion, Dr. Duong Van Nha - Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Rural Development, Kien Giang University awarded the certificates of completion of the January 2019 cultural and academic exchange internship at Kien Giang University to 12 students from the University of Andalas - Indonesia.
